a truely beautiful sounding and looking semi-hollow body electric guitar

I have played many different guitars over the years. Two brands that I feel really offer a lot of bang for your buck are Silvertone by Samick and Jay Turser. I've owned this JT133 beauty since 2008. It's one of the best sounding and looking guitars I've ever owned. It's really fun to play and it holds a tune really well. The fit and finish is outstanding and I like that it isn't too heavy like my Washburn Oscar Schmidt Delta King although in all fairness the Delta King is a fantastic guitar in it's own right--but it is quite heavy. If you are in the market for a well built blues or Jazz guitar that looks and sounds great and won't cost you a month's salary then look no further.

I had never heard of Jay Turser before. I have owned a lot of guitars in the past, including some very nice, "name brand" guitars. With the economy what it is and me becoming a member of the Under-employed I don't have a lot of cash for equipment. I like F-hole guitars, so I thought I'd give this a try because the price was right. I was very surprised at the guitar I got. Great action, sweet sound and just an all around nice guitar. I've owned expensive guitars and I must say, this is as good as, or maybe even better than some of the goodies. I'd recommend this guitar to anyone that likes the feel of a jazz guitar (or any guitar for that matter). Plays great, sounds great, priced even greater. P.S.
