Great guitar for the price

I am very happy with this guitar, especially for the price! It has a very interesting tone, almost like a cross between and Telecaster and a hollow-body sort of thing. I've never used a Gibson SG so I can't compare it that, but it sounds great clean or with distortion. The strings that came with it are also very nice, D'Addario strings, on the thinner side. I may switch the bottom the strings out for thicker gauges, however, as it fits my style of playing better.I was able to adjust the action VERY low, with almost no buzz (only on 17-22 frets on the low E string), and the intonation and truss rod were already perfect when I received the guitar. The only problem I had was that it came out of tune a lot when I first used it, but after you stretch the strings out a bit it won't happen anymore.The guitar also has kind of a natural reverb/resonance inside of it, which makes for a more full tone. I'm very happy with this guitar!

Guiter looks AMAZING, plays good

I ordered this guitar because I wanted to try an SG style guitar without the price. I asked a friend of mine who had a Les Paul style Jay Turser and he loved his. He let me play his and I must say that it sounded pretty good. I went ahead and ordered mine and the neck feels very different than what I expected. It sounds good for a $200 guitar, but the neck feels very flat. It could use some higher quality pickups, and it would definitely benefit from a pro setup. I will probably spring for that down the road.
