overall solid table

My first opinion of seeing the table was like what???, after taking it out of the box I has thinking I was missing parts. most of it has come preassembled which is nice but after the whole table is put together (like 5 mins) i noticed the only thing holding the two sides together was the pieces holding the net which are basically spring clamps, I can't say I'm super happy about that but for the money it has held up to the northern ohio winter and rain really really well, I also have come to like the spring clamps so I can move it alot easier. Table seems nice and perfect for beer pong and occasional table tennis.

Good deal

I ordered this table from Costco for $681 ($629+ taxes). But that time it was listed as MyT5 Outdoor table. When it arrived it had name MyT Street edition. Now I don't find MyT5 Outdoor table anywhere (including Costco and killer-spin!). I assume this has been renamed. But I am surprised to see the retail cost of this table at killer spin: $899. So, I think I got a real good deal.I had purchased this based upon the reviews I saw at Costco. The other table (Kettler) assembly had horror stories.The table arrived mostly intact, except for slight bend on the horizontal support. I decided to keep it as the playing surfaces were undamaged. That's because it was packed with playing surfaces facing each other. Also it was rested flat on the wooden tray. May be that's why it cost more for shipping! Table was strapped to wooden tray with metal straps. Spent 10 min finding my saw to cut it. But then realized that those straps can be slide over the sides and need not be cut!!Once those metal strap were removed, rest of the assembly was simple. It feels very light weight while hauling/folding since it is done in two individual parts.Net fits snugly due to the nylon rope that goes over it and is tied down with chain assembly. It has adjustable height (not sure when that will be used).Play back option really returns with extra spin!! Also the top spin comes back so quickly, there is not much time react. So not sure how can this be used for solo play or warm up. Those players must have really high reflexes. It was much easier to play with my wife :-)Few concerns:1. This table folds into two separate parts. Each part can be locked into vertical position by locking mechanism. Feel like it has good chance of damage if you keep two parts closer while folding/unfolding. Or hauling, as you will haul one part at a time. They may hit each other.2. The net post have to be removed while folding. Any moving parts generally wear out fast. So not sure how long the net will last.3. The height of the legs toward player side can be adjusted. But ones towards net (with wheels) cannot be adjusted. So even though, you can level each individual pieces, they will not level with each other. Instead, you should make each of them parallel to ground instead so that they meet each each other at same point :-) Attaching the net post made them level even if they didn't meet exactly at same point. Not sure if one of the part was slightly lifted. Will check out next time.In short, definitely I cannot allow my 9 yr old to setup the table on her own.Also, I wish it had come with the cover, esp since it is a outdoor table. Now, I need to spend another $70+shippingHave planned get together with friends. Hoping to enjoy BBQ and table tennis over weekend :-)
