Good quality - not true to size

Good quality. Seems sturdy. I am a petite woman that uses a size 2 pants. The size 2 for this wetsuit is wicked small; it does not fit me. For some reason I cannot exchange it so I loose the deal I got at the beginning. I will have to return it.

Fits absolutely true to size

I ordered a size 2 and found it to be the first true-to-size wetsuit I've ever encountered. Rarely are wetsuits even offered in a true size 2. I think the first reviewer might have been anticipating the fit to be more of a mass retail size 2 - ever notice how a size 2 at Banana Republic is quite a bit bigger than a size 2/34 at Ralph Lauren or Christian Dior? It's a marketing ploy, because women will buy more items at retailers where the clothes that fit them are a lower/smaller size number. Makes you feel skinnier, or like you've lost weight, you know? Puts you in a positive shopping (and spending) mindset.This wetsuit fits more like a European 34 or a true RTW 2. I'm 5'1 and 99lbs, and it fit me beautifully. Wet suits are supposed to be tight as f*** when you try them on dry land. This suit had the shortest inseam of any wetsuit I own, but the legs are long enough for someone even three or four inches taller, as long as they weight under 110 lbs. If you're 4'11 and 110lbs though, this suit is not going to work for you. Neither would a true size 2 dress, either. You'd be a 6. This wetsuit has an amazing Velcro ankle seal feature that allows you to undo a flap at the ankle to make getting out of it easier. It's awesome, and even at my tiny height, it closed up completely and gave me a perfect seal. Normally I have to forgo cool technical features at the ankles so that I can have the leg length tailored. I'm so excited to finally have a suit that fits off the rack. It's still cut for someone an inch taller than me, but not prohibitively so. If you are short and slim, this is the best wetsuit I've found.In general, as long as you are under 110 lbs, the size 2 will be perfect for you. If you're on the very short side (like me), you'll want to be 105lbs or less.All this being said, if you have never worn a wetsuit before, you definitely should get fitted for one at a good dive shop. Fitting a wetsuit is tricky and can seem counter intuitive at first. You really need professional assistance and guidance. If that's not possible, here are my tips:1. Make sure you can zip the back all the way up. But NOT too easily, it should be tight enough on dry land that you'll need to use the lanyard and flatten your back in order to zip it fully. If it zips easily, you won't get a good seal.2. If you can get the wetsuit on completely, but it takes 3-5 minutes and by the time you're fully zipped you're starting to feel all claustrophobic and like you NEED to get that wetsuit off asap, then you've got a tight enough seal and can expect to be warm in the water for hours. THIS IS THE FIT YOU WANT. Wet suits expand in water - it won't feel uncomfortable once you jump in, OR after you get out and the suit is still wet.3. Remember that wetsuits are a b!tch to get on and off, always. You'll work up a slight sweat. This is normal. Just get the stupid thing on (have a buddy help you zip up if need be, it's a pretty common occurrence) and jump in the water.4. If you can't get a seal at your wrists or ankles, you're going to have trouble. A little bunching neoprene ABOVE the ankle seal (if you're a little squirt like me) is okay, though.5. Good luck! Don't get all girly and down on yourself because your suit was so hard to get into that now you feel fat. I'm not being sarcastic, getting yourself into a properly fitting cold water suit is a super unflattering process unless your body is rock hard. It just is. But the fun you'll have swimming and diving in cold a$$ water like it ain't no thang is SO worth it.Bonus tip: Until you're completely used to the whole process, have someone around to help you get your wetsuit off. Sometimes, especially when you're exhausted from all that exercise swimming or surfing, getting your wetsuit off can be the WORST. UNPEEL SLOWLY so you don't dislocate something or fall over. Then rinse that sucker with fresh water and dry it out, or your suit will smell like a junior high locker room.
