Comfy old Salomon

I had to finally get rid of my 5 year old Exits and plop down some money last year for a new pair. Not so much for hiking as for work. I needed something that breathes yet had the comfortable feeling I have had for years with these shoes. Was disappointed that I couldn't find my old Exits. When I first put on Exits many years ago I was amazed at their fit. Whoever modeled their "lasts" I love him/her. I have off-sized feet and both felt good. SO I after a bit of research I bought the Exit Aero 2. Size 9.Not disappointed at all. After 6 months of wear I'm ready to get another pair just to stick in the closet for when I need a new pair. When I first got them there was just a bit of stiffness. After a couple of days they were totally broken in for me. Great for walking around and more importantly, really nice for my more sedentary tasks and long days at work. Will be out hiking later this summer and give these a better test but they feel like my last pair that went on the Bay to Breakers a few years ago.

Good walking shoe.

I purchased these shoes to do some hiking around my local area in Sth East Queensland in Australia. The shoes are quite comfortable after an initial wearing in period. They offer good traction on slippery offroad surfaces such as grass, mud and gravel and appear to be quite sturdy. They appear to be quite cool as well which is a strong good point considering the hot and humid area I live in. All in all a comfortable hiking/trail shoe.

Updated: I guess everyone is unique

I'm a 9 1/2D and the Salomon's have always fit well at 9 1/2 but these are a little on the small size. I had been wearing them without socks but the other day I had running socks on (very thin) and I could feel my toe hitting the end.I do want to say that it is a rugged shoe and the soles far out last any other Nike's I own. That said, well worth the money.

Pleased with this tree skirt. Met all my expectations. The only thing with it being white is that if it does get dirt on it, you can't put it in washing machine due to all the decorative gold on there. That's the only con though.

Beautiful and well-made frame

I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this frame online without being able to check it out in person...but my decision to purchase was the right one. This is an amazingly good-looking frame. The colors of the wood frame and mat are rich and vibrant. The frame is also very well-built. It is sturdy and secure. There's nothing cheap looking or feeling about it. Furthermore, the customer service I received from the seller was a rare treat these days. I received a call the morning after I placed the order from the man who would be getting my frame ready and shipping it. He just wanted to confirm that the size of the mat opening was exactly what my diploma size called for. He was extremely personable and friendly, which made the gesture even more nice. And finally, the turnaround was quick. He shipped it out within a few days and I had the frame well within the time period that I needed it.

This brand is my favorite walking shoe.

I ordered a half size smaller after reading previous reviews and from already owning a pair of Salomon Hiking Shoes I knew they ran larger than normal size. This model seems to run wider also. I've only had them 1 week and laces are tied tight. They also tie up higher than my previous pair. I neither like or dislike that feature because you can adjust it. I really like the material and fit of the sole's of these shoes. I walk 2 to 4 miles most days and these last the longest and feel the best over time. I was told when marathon training(walking) to wear running shoes. They wear out faster and don't support my feet like these shoes. My favorites from many brands and styles I've tried.

Slipped them right on!

I received these faster than promised. I quickly put them on to "break them in". There really no need to do this. They are comfortable and appear well made. The run a little big but this is not a problem. I purchased them to climb Mt Fuji. I will update this after the climb.

Perfect

Love Salomon shoes but they run about a 1/2 size up. I ordered from another company in my regular size. 8.5 & they were huge. These were a different style but I went with the 8 & they fit perfect! Salomon typically has a roomy toe-box and a good solid foundation. I am outside (goofing off) daily, and Salomon shoes have always served me well.

Very Comfortable, But Not Built to Last

From the moment I first put on these sneakers, they felt comfortable, cushy yet supportive. They also keep your feet cooler. However, in less than three months, they are starting to deteriorate. The plastic covering in the center of each heel is badly cracked, so there is an opening to the inside of the shoe. The top liner above my toes inside one sneaker has a hole, and the blue liner at the back of the other shoe also has a hole. So for comfort and support, my grade would, most certainly, be an A, but durability would merit a D.

Fits perfectly, comfortable sole

I got a C width and the shoe is just wide enough for me.They have a stiff sole with rigid plastic on the sides of the shoe just above the sole which means the foot does not flex or move when striding. This means you feel secure and can't pronate or twist your ankle easily.It is a different style of shoe from the type with a flexible sole and soft sides which feels like wearing moccasins. I like both types of shoe - the flexible type feels better on dirt paths and the stiff type feels better on harder surfaces.

An odd beast that grows on you with time (and fun).

The only down side to this sled (if you call it that) is that the luge requires some skill. There's a learning curve. Don't assume an 8 year old will figure it out. Be sure they are old enough to handle the responsibility of having the fastest sled on the hill and provide some instruction. Wear head protection and strong heeled boots.2013 update: We have added 6 new sleds in the last year including Mountain Boys Ultimate. This luge still comes out on top for speed, control, durability, and fun. Other sled makers should study the Laser Luge. We run it on packed powder, slush and icy patches. It takes a beating. Probably not the sled you need to pack down 6 inches of fresh powder but once the snow is packed go find the luge. There are certainly better sleds out there but not in this price range. For a few years Flexible Flier produced a Hammerhead type sled. That was nice.

Great Sled

This little sled is sturdy and well built. It does take some getting used to and is very fast. My first run down the hill I leaned left, intending to go left. The sled immediately zipped to the right and oh my can it ever turn! The next few runs and I discovered that you can turn this thing also by pushing on the front runners. Push the left runner and you will go right. The only challenge is on rough snow you get to bouncing pretty good as you zip down the hill, it becomes difficult to keep your feet on the runners for steering. And once it starts turning, if you are sitting up it will turn harder and harder because of your weight being shifted by the turn. For high speeds I would recommend laying on it headfirst so you can grab the runners and steer using your hands and to keep your center of gravity low so you have more control during turns.

Great Sleds!

This is a great sled for sliding on a packed snow surface. Most riders become proficient with stopping and steering after about 30 minutes of practice, but it does take practice to master the turning so follow the instructions. For stopping I recommend pulling up the reins with both hands with an over hand grip (keep elbows up) while keeping both feet fairly flat on the snow and applying more pressure to the heels.Check out "natural luge" videos on You Tube for additional instruction and excitement.

Beautiful Rug

I was pleasantly surprised by this rug. It is very soft and thick for the price and looks lovely in my entranceway. I would definitely recommend it. Note that although the product name says "brown red," this rug doesn't have any recognizable red in it. The medium brown blocks have red flecks, but you would not notice it unless you were looking closely at it. The rug appears exactly as pictured - blocks with various shades of brown and cream/biege.

Stunningly vivid

I bought this rug runner after looking around town for something that was decently priced and long enough for the spot in my home with a lot of foot traffic. The seller sent me an email telling me how to care for the rug and the i was quite surprised at the quality of the overall rug. It is very soft, and has very deep colors, i got so many compliments, i bought the larger version. Shipping was free and since there is no tax on the item, it turns out to be cheaper than Target or bed bath and beyond.

My VM9414

Excellent indash GPS, DVD and CD player. Has many features higher end products offer and very easy to operate. I have had for over 18 months and no issues great all around system. I am on the road 3 out of 5 days a week making sales calls through it. Purchased the Blue tooth adapter and it works as good as any of them out there. Once in a while I have a bad connection but easy to disconnect and go direct to my BB and talk. looking to add a couple of 12" base units and amp looking forward to many more days on the road.

Not bad for my first In-Dash DVD Player

I have really liked this in-dash DVD player. It has many features that are attractive such as the touch screen, SD Card input, front AUX input and the USB input for Ipods. The biggest selling feature for me was the built in navigation which works really well. The downside is that the whole mechanism that reads the CDs and DVDs quit working after just 7 months. I now have to uninstall it and send it to get fixed which is lame. Other than that, its been a good system. I might post future updates, hopefully I don't have to wait too long to get it back from being repaired.
