4Well styled, low on quality.
By D. T. King
I've had this chair for quite some time, since July. The chair was quite attractive and the price almost seemed too good to be true.Pros:Very affordableVery attractiveAdjustable reclining controls as well as hydraulic height adjustment. The arms are adjustable as well.Very little sitting fatigueCons:Everything, and I mean everything, squeaks. Raise the seat? Squeak. Move backwards? Squeak. Recline? Squeeeeeeeak. The arms also wobble regardless of the height level. As someone with some compulsive leanings, this is pretty frustrating. The seat arrived with some of the mesh pulled. It is pretty irritating just to look at.That being said, ~$130 (what I paid when I bought it) is still pretty decent for this chair. I just don't know how HON could honestly sell this for over $300. If it was marketed as being $180 instead of being sold at a discount from $300 I would appreciate it more.

5Good Chair for $$
By JA Smith
I was in the market for an inexpensive office chair (sub $200) and found this before the holidays in the $130 range and this one looked interesting. After Christmas price dropped below $90. At that point, I pulled the trigger with a few reservations - due to the limited reviews. It arrived via 2-day shipping early this week via Amazon Prime, which is awesome.A few facts about me to help you interpret this review. I'm a 5'11" male who works 50-55 hours a week at a computer terminal. I have a Herman Miller Aeron at the office and my wife (who works part time from home) has a Herman Miller Sayl chair. I've begun working a couple days a month from home and was in the market to get a more comfortable chair for my home office.Assembly: Required but easy - about 15-20 min. All parts and pieces clearly labeled with tools provided.Build Quality: Pieces that matter (mesh back, seat) feel of good quality. The "underside" of the base (where casters go) and the seat (mounting of seat assembly) suffers from poor alignment and in spots had plastic peeling off. Having said that none of it seems to matter to the functionality of the chair.Comfort: Pretty good and comfortable. Seat cusion is on the firm side. Mesh back gives you good support where you need it. My 2-4 hour stints have been fatigue free and chair promotes good posture.Controls/Adjustability: This chair is pretty basic in this area. One level controls up/down and tilt. The tilt is a little to "tight" for my liking. The up/down works well - however be aware that the lowest position on the chair feels higher than most. I'm 5'11 and where I like to sit is only about a half an inch from the lowest setting. The arms do adjust. An earlier reviewing mentioned squeeking. I have heard no squeeks and I have had nothing but smooth operation.Overall: At the $90 I'd pull the trigger again, and based on what I've seen this looks like a really good value. This chair feels on par with Office Depot chairs in the $200-$250 range. Chair seems to be pretty well constructed, looks good and most importantly it is comfortable for moderate stretches (4 hours is the max). If I was using the chair everyday, I'd spend more money to get a higher quality/more comfortable chair. It should do the trick for what I purchased it for.

5Very nice!
By nurset
I bought this for my son who is 6'3 for Christmas and he loved it and the size was a good fit for him. Very nicely made and I plan to purchase a second for myself.
