Beautiful, functional industrial art.

I bought one of these on clearance but based on my initial reaction to having it in my hands and using it to prep food I'd be inclined to pay the full MSRP. I have used a number of chef's knives and santokus over the years but I have never felt another knife to be so perfectly balanced in my hands. The handle is symmetrical and oval in section, great for a lefty like me unlike some Japanese knives, the handle is not overly large yet sill generously sized for my smallish hands and though it is rather smooth it is never slick feeling, even when wet, and the taper gives it a feeling of security with a variety of grips. The centre of balance is right at the pinch point just ahead of the bolster making a wide range of knife techniques feel natural and easy. Out of the box the thin blade is super sharp and though time will tell how well this knife holds an edge and how easy it will be to resharpen, so far so good, I've yet to notice any degradation in cutting performance, it still effortlessly cuts through cabbage or tough carrots which it easily turns into a fine julienne. The blade itself is beautifully tapered from just under 3mm on the spine just ahead of the bolster to a very acute edge and tip so it produces very little wedging whilst still being rigid and substantial. And it is simply gorgeous to look at and to hold and to use. Recommended.

just perfect

I use this knife in an extremely busy professional kitchen. Let me start by saying the weight, balance, and feel of the knife are all spectacular. It feels as if you can do anything with this knife. I frequently use it to butcher, cut and trim fish/meat and I never have any issues. It makes cutting vegetables fun. In the 6 months I have owned it, I have run it over a wet stone 3 times and used a steel daily to maintain an unbelievably sharp edge. This knife will cut paper effortlessly and I wouldn't doubt if you could shave with it...yes it can be that sharp if maintained correctly! I absolutely recommend it, and all the other chefs i work with ask me to use it when they have a task their knives just wont handle.

True all-day sunblock

I've followed this product over the years as it changed names. Protection truly lasts through sun, sweat, swimming, etc. The giant 32 oz bottle sits on my bathroom counter. I put it on beforehand on days when I know I'll be exposed to the sun. The pump makes it convenient to put on and to refill the little squeeze bottle I carry in my sports bag.My friends tease about how white I am. But besides wanting to avoid skin aging or cancer problems that run in my family, I also don't want farmer tan lines on my arms, thighs and ankles that would otherwise happen while exercising, playing sports, or just being outside all day in normal clothes and not a swimsuit.

Red, red red

This shower head came with everything needed including the thread tape! It was super easy to install and I had it up and flowing in 15 minutes.The diverter will only let you use one head at a time. That should be listed in the description.The color is far more red that the picture shows. I have Peerless brushed oil bronze fixtures throughout my home and it is very red compared to them. I know there are some fluctuations between manufacturers, but this is very noticeable.

Great value for the price

This little MXL 990s first got my attention when one of my bands used it on stage in a concert hall for vocals. Clean, clear and very sensitive on three sides, it allowed three singers to be heard over this one mic. When I got on the net and saw the price I was very surprised. I ordered one immediately. Since then I have used the mic for recording, as well as stage work. For recording it is a little harsh but certainly able to be used for instruments. I have not recorded vocals with it yet. It works especially well for recording the upright bass.One more mic to add to your bag of tricks, you will not regret spending less than 100.00 on the 990s to get a workhorse stage and recording piece of gear. Remember, this mic requires phantom power for both stage and recording. The -10dB pad and 150Hz low-cut switch makes this mic a little more versatile than the 900.

Beauttiful finish

Just had the faucet installed and it looks really nice. Like the smooth water flow and the ability to switch between that and spray mode. I would have given it 5 stars but two small things stopped me. The first is the splashing issue when in smooth flow mode, you need to remember to cut back on the water flow when washing. The second is the fact that when you engage the spray mode it does not stay, it automatically switches back to flow mode, so if you stop spraying for a short period you have to reset the button to engage the spray function again.I have read that it is difficult to keep this finish clean and was debating between this and the satin finish. Only time will tell, but in the meantime I do like the look of the fixture.

Fryes made in china?!

I bought these for their style and the belief that fryes still made their products in the US. When The box arrived and I put them on I was wrong on both counts. Very stiff leather which made them Uncomfortable and looked cheap. For the money I can buy a pair of Italian made shoes that are soft stylish and better made.

YES, To Every Color!

I love these heels. I have been patiently waiting for these heels to go on sale for a year. Finally, I was able to get them. They have a perfect peep toe. I purchased mine a half size up, because I prefer for the toes to rest within the stitching of the shoe. If you look at the close up you will see the footbed has an outline (like a framing). This shoe is extremely comfortable the footbed is cushioned, it's really plush and the platform makes the 5" heel more than bearable. My foot leans toward narrow therefore I think this shoe would not fit a wide foot. I purchased both the copper and the black color. I now want the navy.

Nice shoes

I don't wear heels, ever. So I was reasonably concerned about getting some this high. But I took a chance because the brand was so highly recommended and the shoes are so cute. Amazingly, they are actually pretty comfortable and easy to walk in! And they look just as good in person. I love the wood on the heel.
