The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Founded in 1863 by John A. Fryes made in china?!

I bought these for their style and the belief that fryes still made their products in the US. When The box arrived and I put them on I was wrong on both counts. Very stiff leather which made them Uncomfortable and looked cheap. For the money I can buy a pair of Italian made shoes that are soft stylish and better made.

YES, To Every Color!

I love these heels. I have been patiently waiting for these heels to go on sale for a year. Finally, I was able to get them. They have a perfect peep toe. I purchased mine a half size up, because I prefer for the toes to rest within the stitching of the shoe. If you look at the close up you will see the footbed has an outline (like a framing). This shoe is extremely comfortable the footbed is cushioned, it's really plush and the platform makes the 5" heel more than bearable. My foot leans toward narrow therefore I think this shoe would not fit a wide foot. I purchased both the copper and the black color. I now want the navy.

Nice shoes

I don't wear heels, ever. So I was reasonably concerned about getting some this high. But I took a chance because the brand was so highly recommended and the shoes are so cute. Amazingly, they are actually pretty comfortable and easy to walk in! And they look just as good in person. I love the wood on the heel.
