Good unit and useful rod for custom fab

This is a bit awkward, but what I was after was a 36" Kohler Devonshire rod to replace my aging 36" rectangular rod and tie into my new Kohler Devonshire faucets and fixturesKOHLER K-394-4-BN Devonshire Widespread Lavatory Faucet, Vibrant Brushed Nickel. Since Kohler (and almost everybody else) doesn't make a 36" rod, I was stuck with trying to buy what's available...which is the Allied Brass line of 36" rods. My idea was to see if I could extract the rod itself from the Allied Brass unit, and adapt it to the Devonshire towel rod ends from a Kohler 30" unitKOHLER K-10552-BN Devonshire 30-Inch Towel Bar, Vibrant Brushed Nickel. Although the Kohler unit uses a 5/8" dia rod, and the Allied Brass unit is 3/4" diameter, it was relatively easy for me to fab two small sleeves to adapt the Allied Brass 36" rod to the Kohler Devonshire end pieces. The result (see attached photo) looks great and was a total success. The key point that made the adaptation work is the high quality of the Allied Brass unit. The rod itself was quite substantial (in difference to some reviews I've seen to the contrary) and the "satin Nickle" finish was nearly identical to the Brushed Nickel finish of the Kohler Devonshire rod unit. Although I didn't use the Allied Brass rod ends (see my close-up picture) they were very well built with a very nice surface finish. The particular style of the Allied Brass ends was irrelevant to me as they were to be discarded. Thus, I purchased the least expensive Allied Brass unit I could find, hoping that the rod was the same for all. In summary the 36" Allied Brass rod unit is a great item that I'd recommend to anyone, AND its a great source of a 36" rod with a variety of surface finishes for those looking for a means to adapt other rod systems.

It Seems I Got A Upgrade!! Love My Lights

I have enjoyed these lights for the last 9 months and overall I am very happy with my purchase! They are bigger than I expected but I can use only one for most of my purposes. If you are doing a lot of studio or permanent set up shooting these lights will serve you well. I was using halogen lights and after getting a tan from the heat, I made the switch to florescent lights. I will not be going back to halogen! These burn cooler and give off much better light. One note the stands are heavy as hell! I am fairly strong but the weight is undeniable and may pose a problem for a person of limited strength. SIMPLY FABULOUS!!!

I got these in the mail this week and has already wore them twice...they're amazing!!! They remind me of the Isabel Marant boots I wanted that are $1250 and out of my budget; so I was excited when I discovered these. They run true to size and surprisingly comfortable w/socks. I wore them for 8 hours to work and they didn't hurt my feet; (as expected from reading the reviews below). I highly recommend these -great buy!

SO HOT!!! (but a little uncomfortable)

These boots are FABULOUS looking! I was looking for something with a leopard print, but a distressed looking print. These are perfect! Kind of a muted leopard print, but still very apparent. The only reason that I gave these 4 stars, instead of 5, is that they are a little uncomfortable. Maybe it's just that I'm used to a platform, so the ball of my foot is usually more cushioned, but can't see wearing these for an extended period of time unless I get a cushion to put in there. For myself, I thought they ran pretty true to size. I am a solid 7, ordered a 7, and I wouldn't have wanted them smaller. Maybe if you have a real narrow foot, you'd want to size down a little, but other than that I think they're pretty right on. I see getting a LOT of wear out of them! Will be adorable with skinny jeans! Happy with my purchase!

Love these Boots !!!................

These are SOOO cute and nicely made....they are made of fairly thick suede, so the weight makes them fall/slouch quite a bit.. but WOW.. I love them so...run true to size Fairly comfortable for the heel height..only wish they were padded where your weight shifts forward...couldn't run a marathon in these puppies. The shaft is quite big--so that I couldn't wear them (uncuffed) with a skirt, but w/ skinny jeans are TOO wonderful..

Great product for slouching (shoulders and mid-back)

Overall, I would highly recommend this product. I slouch a lot and I wanted to try this product in order to help correct my bad habit. It arrived about a week earlier than it was estimated to arrive (which was great) and really helps my back! There are three different adjustable velcro straps.. one that goes around your lower back, another that tightens and pulls around the lower/mid back, and the longer straps that pull back the shoulders. The product also comes with a lower back padding, which makes the brace more comfortable against your body. There are also two different bars that you can put into the back for extra support-- a pair that are very rigid, and a pair that are more flexible. The shoulder straps can rub a bit and I felt like i had to constantly adjust, but then I saw, at the bottom of the box, there were shoulder strap padding. Once I slipped on these pads, they were much more comfortable. Overall, I really like this product. (The only one complaint I have is that the neck area rubs into the skin on the back of your neck- it can get slightly irritating and makes you hold your neck forward a bit-- which I'm sure is against the whole 'good posture' aspect. This is minor though, the brace's benefits far outweigh this issue. I easily solved the issue by wearing either a high-necked shirt or a hoodie so that the fabric was against my skin instead of the actual brace) I would highly recommend this brace-- much more comfortable than all the others I have tried and actually very supportive for mid-back issues and shoulders slouching. Ive only been wearing it for a few days but my back pain has quickly diminished. Feels great at work, especially when I sit in front of a computer screen all day. Great product, great seller!! 5 stars

fantastic brace!!

I bought this brace when i could barely walk with out a cane. Its so amazing i almost can't believe it. I have sharp stabbing pains on my back and when i put this pin they almost disappear. It has a cushion inside that rests on lower back that really helps give the right support. I stand and lift all. Day and many people i work with have back plain like me and i recommend. To everyone. I cannot say how much relief it gives. It came a lot faster than they said....i think it was supposed to take 3 weeks. But came in about 4 days.

Great product but need modification

I bought this just because I sit long hours in front of PC. I am 5'3'', according the specification I ordered size M. But the torso length of this item is longer than mine. So I have to tailor it down a little bit, that took me 1 hour total since I have to take off lots of stitches and I am not good at using sewing machine either. Other than that, the quality is great. Fabric is breathable, not one of those that would make you sweat! But now it is winter time, so I am not sure about how it feels in summer. Shipping as from UK and it was fast (within a week). I am 4.8/5 satisfied with this product!

Very cool locomotive

I'm working on modeling the New York Central railroad in the early 1950s time period. This Alco RS-3 is a great addition to my Alco HH600. The locomotive has a good amount of detail (it's currently in a display case on the shelf while the track layout gets worked out) and it runs well. I can't speak to its DCC abilities as I've only run it under DC. It crawls well and hits a decent top speed.

melon bud II is not only beautiful, but it is a great weight ... substantial to hold. so often flatware bends and is flimsy .. not the case on this one!! very nice to hold ... not too heavy and definately not too light! it's been around for years and is easy to add on pieces or get replacements.

What an incredible deal! I wanted this to expand my current Melon Bud stainless collection for when we have lots of folks to serve. Original 5 piece settings were obtained many years ago as wedding gifts and the quality is excellent. I couldn't believe the fabulous price for this set, so grabbed it while and could. I've already needed it 3 times since the fairly recent purchase and am happy this was available.

Awsome for the price

I've had them for 4 months now and havent had any issues. But anyways, they are sure to impress, very bright, and super easy to set up.. The only 2 downsides that I can think of is that they seem to have a little delay proccesing the beats of the music into the beats of the lights, maybe just half a second or so, but it is noticable. And you need to use fog, for the awsome light beams like in my video, otherwise you'll just have dot patterns on the floor which is boring

Eliminator Lighting LED Lighting

I purchased the lights the end of September for our mobile DJ service. We used the lights 3 or 4 times. At first, the lights worked great. They are light weight and easy to set up. We used the lights a couple days ago and they weren't functioning properly. They weren't changing patters like they had when first purchased. We are in the process of contacting the seller because amazon couldn't gives us a refund or exchange since it had been 30 days past purchase.

Outstanding light

This light is very bright, lightweight, and tough. It is extreamly bright and fills the entire dance floor. I am a mobile dj and it is very importort to have good light and bright lights. The way they connect is very nicely with connectors that screw into the inputs and outputs. I would recommend buying.

beautiful swing

This was given to us as a gift. It's very nice and sturdy. The only problem I have is that the very lowest speed, the best speed in my opinion for a newborn, slows down by it self in just a few minutes. The next to lowest speed is too fast. My grandson is only two weeks old so I am not sure what age this will be best for. There are quite a few more speeds to go and I can't imagine it needing to go any faster.

I'm just going to get to the point with this one:The bad-The mobile is too low, you hit your babies head on it.-Very easy to hit you babies head on the blue bar because you cant see hardly what your doing with the top of the swing in your way.-The mobile grinds and squeaks and sounds horrible and loud so we cant ever use it.-The legs come off the floor about a inch when it swings (my baby is only 6 weeks old!) and thats on the first speed setting.-The music turns off after playing 4 songs or so and it wakes up the baby.-If you turn it into a front facing swing instead of a side swinging one it hits and jerks the baby around and it throws them forward. Not a good design if you ask me.The good-Plugs in, no batteries :)-Easy to use especially when its the middle of the night and your tired and baby is fussing.-Good tunes my baby loves them.-The light is awesome for calming them down too!Improvements that need to be made-More padding-Better leg room, white thing should be covered too. Motor Problems

From the beginning, the music, mobile, and swing setting did not seem to work. The music and mobile were sporadic; the swing setting did not make a difference. When I contacted customer service (CS), the representative was very kind, as I have read about F-P representatives on other reviews, and offered to send us another motor. The second motor worked as it was supposed to, but for only two weeks. The mobile does not work/rotate any more. During those two weeks, our daughter loved the swing. She loved the selection of music (complaint is that it's only 7 minutes) and the mobile of sea creatures rotating above her head and was able to fall asleep in it, content and entertained. Now, it is sad to see our daughter looking up at the sea creatures, in anticipation of them rotating above her head. She doesn't want to sit in it at times and doesn't fall asleep as quickly, as she's not hypnotized by the mobile. I have spoken with a CS representative and have even sent an email message about this issue. They are sending a third motor. I asked why this was the case (she said it could be "electronic"), if there were other complaints about the motor (she didn't say). We haven't received the third motor yet and can't wait to get it. Considering the price of this swing, an unreliable motor is something that Fisher-Price really needs to address. I am glad that there is a one-year warranty; however, how many more times will there be a motor issue and how many other parents have experienced something similar. In addition, there isn't sufficient padding in the seat (our daughter looked like she was in extreme pain a couple of times), so we have put a towel for additional cushioning. Also, although it says "speed" for the swing setting, I have heard that it is the arc of the swing (very confusing). This product has affected my husband's view of Fisher-Price, as being unreliable and cheaply manufactured. If it were not for the defunct motor, insufficient seat cushioning, and speed vs arc issue, I would have given this product 5 stars.

Entirely too small for the cost

Bottom line - the cost of Kronos products does NOT match the quality. Buy another brand that provides more product. This kit wasn't what I expected it to be and certainly didn't help my hair grow. It also has an alcohol smell and is very watery, so don't expect it to last long.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona and the weather is dry and takes a toll on your hair. Kronos hair products revitalize my hair ( which is lightened - another dying problem) with out leaving my fine hair looking greasy.

pretty pillow

I got this as a gift for my parents' southwestern home. When it arrived at my house I was able to check it out before sending a package out to them. This is a very pretty wool pillow with a dark red background and rich turquoise accent. I was impressed with the quality of this item, although for a $50 something throw pillow, I would expect quality. There were also a large variety of southwestern style pillows available by this maker on Prime that I recommended to my parents for additional items. They loved receiving this pillow and said that it really went well in their home. I would definitely recommend this item.

Stunning in stone. These boots are so well made, the photos just don't do them justice. True to size tho, wish I'd ordered the 6.5 rather that the 7. If you have skinny feet like mine, make sure you order the smallest of the sizes you usually order. Since i've already worn them, I won't be returning them. I'll be wearing thick socks, and perhaps add a heel insert to prevent slipping. If you can afford them, get em. They are worth every penny.

Loving these boots.

I couldn't be happier with these! I tried on a pair of the Melissa boots in the store and they were way harder to pull on and I was worried the calves were too tight. These are both much easier to pull on and slightly looser at the top. Mine are also quite comfortable. I liked how the cognac color darkened up a bit after I weatherproofed them.

They are the best boots the fit is perfect im a size 8 to 8.5 in shoes and i always go a 9 in boots and they fit great. colour is true to picture. Very Happy!
