ArcOne 4000V-1171 Shade Master Fighting Tiger Welding Helmet is an auto-darkening welding helmet. Select from five different auto-darkening welding filters with the highest level of UV/IR protection up to 16. Solar powered so there are never any batteries to change. Helmets provide complete head, neck, and ear coverage. Both come with front loaded polycarbonate replacement and perma-lok ratchet headgear that locks in place for a precise, comfortable fit. Helmets are constructed of flame retardant nylon. Unique design channels fumes away from welders. Perfect for all welding applications. Enough room for a respirator. This helmet features a light state of 4, and a dark state of 9 - 13. There is a fixed sensitivity control and a viewing area of 5.2 square inches. very poor quality for what you pay...

terrible hood, dont waste your money or time. i had it for 8 months and had to sell it for 40 bucks. (the auto lens already went bad). the outter lenses are 11 bucks for a 2 pack and go bad quickly. i spent 20 bucks a month in clear lenses for it alone. i tig and pulse weld 5-6 days a week and most of that time i spend fabing so for the amount of time i had it vs the amount of time i actually used it.. it was no where close to worth what they are asking for these. terrible customer service when you call the arc one company as well. i now have a jackson trusight, the upgrade to a nex gen. the best hood ive ever had hands down. its about 500 bucks. if thats too much then get a miller pro hobby. cheaper, better and longer lasting than this hunk of junk.

Helmet is awesome

Helmet fits great and all of the size adjusters and up/down detents work really good. Viewing area is good. Auto-tint shade and sensitivity good.I've used a dozen or so helmets over the years at my various jobs, but this is the first I've ever owned for myself. Love it. Nice form fitting contour. Only minor issue is a bit of plastic cast into the lens frame on the inside cuts into my nose if I adjust the helmet all the way snug against my face. Contemplating sniping that piece since it doesn't really do anything and would offer an even better fit. All in all, very happy with my purchase.Oh, yeah, and the print is wicked! Very high quality print, no sticker bs, this is screened on the plastic.

Very cool helmet, got tons of compliments. Only two problems so far: 1 The shade/view is kinda small but it works. 2 the plastic cover gets ruined VERY fast so I went on the web sight and ordered a case load of them. Auto Shade works great though.
