Comfy old Salomon

I had to finally get rid of my 5 year old Exits and plop down some money last year for a new pair. Not so much for hiking as for work. I needed something that breathes yet had the comfortable feeling I have had for years with these shoes. Was disappointed that I couldn't find my old Exits. When I first put on Exits many years ago I was amazed at their fit. Whoever modeled their "lasts" I love him/her. I have off-sized feet and both felt good. SO I after a bit of research I bought the Exit Aero 2. Size 9.Not disappointed at all. After 6 months of wear I'm ready to get another pair just to stick in the closet for when I need a new pair. When I first got them there was just a bit of stiffness. After a couple of days they were totally broken in for me. Great for walking around and more importantly, really nice for my more sedentary tasks and long days at work. Will be out hiking later this summer and give these a better test but they feel like my last pair that went on the Bay to Breakers a few years ago.

Good walking shoe.

I purchased these shoes to do some hiking around my local area in Sth East Queensland in Australia. The shoes are quite comfortable after an initial wearing in period. They offer good traction on slippery offroad surfaces such as grass, mud and gravel and appear to be quite sturdy. They appear to be quite cool as well which is a strong good point considering the hot and humid area I live in. All in all a comfortable hiking/trail shoe.

Updated: I guess everyone is unique

I'm a 9 1/2D and the Salomon's have always fit well at 9 1/2 but these are a little on the small size. I had been wearing them without socks but the other day I had running socks on (very thin) and I could feel my toe hitting the end.I do want to say that it is a rugged shoe and the soles far out last any other Nike's I own. That said, well worth the money.
