Great for beginners and students

I got this bass about five years ago when I first started Jazz band in middle school, I'm just about to graduate and its still holding together, despite having to withstand the torture of a high school band student. Just watch out for the grounding of all the internals or you'll get a wicked buzz whenever it is played and after awhile all you get is buzz, But a $20 fix and its been working like a dream. Since its a Precision Bass it has a lot of attack to it so if you want to play rock or metal this is perfect. Especially if you use a fuzz pedal.

Jay's ok!

Bought this without trying out any Jay Turser basses before, and was greatly surprised by the quality and playability of the bass. Had my local tech. look it over and he said it easily compared with any other 4 string under $1000.00! Let the bass player of a local band look at it and he liked it better than the $600 one he gigs with.
