Did exactly what I needed it to do.

Being newly diagnosed with diabetes, I began experiencing things I had no idea were part of the syndrome. One is circulatory problems. I began having episodes of edema that lasted for days, even weeks - painful, broken capillary edema. Scary edema. I've seen folks rolling themselves around in wheelchairs after losing feet, even legs to lack of circulation. I started using lace-up tight shoes (really good tennies) and elastic bandages at night to keep my legs normal. Worked OK, but required constant adjustment to keep from creating pressure damage at points were bones are close to the skin. Boy, what a learning experience. I'd wake up in the morning with my legs still looking like tree trunks. I tried elevating them over a suitcase (couldn't think of anything else about the right size) and it worked OK, but it just didn't feel right - hard and unyielding. Saw this product and thought, what the hey. Bought it, and on the very first night it reversed that day's swelling back to completely normal. I probably should have gotten the small one - I purchased the large and it's a little long, but I'm not complaining. I love this thing. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It relieves edema - the full length of my legs. I could not be happier. Thank God. It has a zip off cover that can be laundered. I'm so glad I found this thing. Life is about learning to adapt, and having this thing in my bed my looks dorky, but it sure works. I would recommend this for every diabetic that is experiencing chronic edema. It's WONDERFUL!!!Oh - and for all you diabetic newbies out there, EXERCISE!! It really helps. It can lower your sugar, make you feel SOOOO much better, and really help with your symptoms. Stay strong. Diabetes can be lived with - you just need to realize your life is going to be completely different. LOL.

With my current job, I have to walk all day and sometimes all night long and leave me a badly painful, fatigue legs the next day. After I start using this wedge, I feel like I wake up with new fresh legs! It also help decreasing my varicose vein.
