Slightly Smaller

I have liked Charmin's mega rolls since they first came out. I was lucky I didn't need the extender for them to fit on my holders. One was pretty tight, but it worked okay. I was surprised when this new batch said on the package that it was guaranteed to fit. When I used it on the holder that used to be a tight fit, I noticed it didn't rub the wall as much. I still had a package of the originals, so I compared them. I had thought they might have figured out how to roll the paper tighter since it still claimed to be 4 times the size of a regular roll. The old rolls had 400 sheets. The new ones have 352. Guess they didn't learn to roll them tighter.

Excellent product - Excellent sale - Tired of waiting for Big Box sales?

UPDATED OCT. 26TH - REC'D WITHIN 4 DAYS OF ORDERING and be sure to order 'MEGA' not the 'large' rolls - almost twice the amount of sheets per roll!*************************************************************************This 48 rolls just $1.05 per roll - and if one goes the great Amazon 'Subscribe and Save' program then even more savings to be had. [One roll - one person - 10 days]Latest price at one major BIG BOX - $14.64 for 12 cnt - $1.22 per roll - [That is UP from 3 months ago] and waiting for grocery stores to have on sale or 'no longer stock' is a major pain.Treat Yourself and buy in bulk - Using the Amazon Store card is a great option also.

Bootleg Charmin

Charmin Ultra-soft is the only kind of T.P. I have bought in ten years. So, I am somewhat of a Charmin conniseur so-to-speak. It is the best toilet paper out there for those of us with sensitive tushes (and just about everyone that doesn't like the feeling of sandpaper). I thought this was a great deal- until my Charmin arrived. Hmmm...let's just say this isn't the same Charmin I get at my local store. Yes, the packaging is the same BUT (pun-intended) it is not as soft, is missing a ply, and doesn't have quilting. I thought I got a bad batch but when I purchased them from Amazon the second time- same stuff. Go figure.
