Looks Great

Would highly recommend this. I shopped around for weeks before deciding on this one and am positive there is no better bang for the buck out there. Price was great. I was also able to find matching sink faucets and shower trim kits on Amazon as well. The style is very classy and looks great in my newly remodeled bathroom.

I selected this product for our bathroom remodel. I started by selecting the sink faucet and found the Portsmouth line of AS fixtures and followed with this tub set and the shower trim in Portsmouth for consistency. This is installed in a deck mount for a free standing claw foot bath tub. The sink Portsmouth sink spout swivels and I thought this one would, too, (my error for not checking on that feature) but it doesn't. We chose the nickel satin finish and it makes an attractive fixture. We also installed it with the hand held attachment.This is a heavy, well made fixture. Installation was straight forward. No problems. I used reducing union ells to step down the supply inlets from 3/4" to 1/2". As an aside, one of the questions I had was whether the quarter turn stops (1/2" by 1/2") I used at the floor would allow enough water to flow through the valve to fill the tub quickly. Going from 1/2" supply to 3/4" inlet at the fixture didn't concern me, but the orifice in the stop is tiny. I received conflicting advice from "professionals". The guys at Lowes said "it will take forever to fill the tub". My plumbing contractor said "should be o.k. but not sure". I finally called a valve manufacturer (even though I didn't but his valves) and got a hold of a sales engineer who said "don't worry. it will do the job"......and it does..

Had these for a month now, quality is very good for the price. The installation was good, decent instruction manuals. Feel very smooth when operating.
