American Standard faucet

This American Standard faucet has a very convenient design not generally available in most other faucets on the market today or in the past. We have used it for a bathroom sink to make hair washing easy, as the faucet output can be easily swiveled to where it is needed without effort and without the trouble of a pullout. The operation is very smooth. As to how long this faucet will last, of course time will tell. Would I choose this again for this use? Definitely. I had done days of footwork to try to find a faucet like this and had just about given up trying to find this kind of faucet. The faucet ordered from Amazon, came within a couple of days.

I remodeled my bath with gorgeous travetine and tumbled stone. I wanted faucents and shower fixtures that would not diminish the craftsmanship of the stone work. I purchased two of the faucents and they were perfect. This faucet has a heavy feel and looks as if it were hand forged. I've had the faucets for 2 months and have not had any problems so far. I don't normally write reviews but I am extremely satisfied with this product!

I selected Portsmouth line of AS fixtures for our bathroom remodel including sink, tub set and shower. I started with selecting the sink faucet as that gets the most use. My first requirement was single handle control and this one works really well. I like the side mounted handle and the fact that the spout swivels from side to side. The on/off is a short distance and the swivel of the handle feels solid and positive.We installed this with a Kohler wading pool sinks that are somewhat shallow and I was concerned that the slope on the sinks might require offsetting the spout some. (It doesn't)We selected the mickel satin finish and it is really good looking.I would select this again and recommend it.
