3Decent layer fleece
By Ryan Fick
So I bought this Fleece to be a layer underneath my soft or hard shell, as well as by itself in cool weather.Pros:-the material is like a scuba suit, very stretchy and rubbery. It conforms to your body well and is athletic/snug fitting, but not too tight-The arms are a little longer than average, which is good since you'll most likely be active while wearing this-The wind resistance is good and helps block wind on it's own-The style is off the hook, this thing looks techy as hell and the use of the different materials, colors, and details is amazing. It definitely is one of the coolest fleeces/performance shirts I've ever seen!!!Cons:-the body length is just too short and your constantly pulling it down, which is a problem with EVERY Marmot jacket/shirt I've ever owned or tried on-It's not really that warm for a fleece. Granted, it's not a 300 weight fleece (so I'm not expecting super warm), but at 200 it should be pretty warm and add body heat under another shell. It doesn't really do that. It's just alright in warmth.-the price is really high for how thin this fleece is. It has low value. It is NOT a jacket, it is a thick performance shirt/base layer that is going to add warmth underneath your soft/hard shell to layer with. On it's own, it's only comfortable down to around 40ish. I was expecting something much warmer for $100. Overall, it's good, and the price is actually in line or lower than other options, but that is the problem, performance wear is outrageously expensive for what they provide. I usually try to wait until outdoor gear is on sale/clearance before I buy, as the value is just crazy low.

4Almost Perfect Layering Fleece with 2 Minor Flaws
By jb.jones
This fleece is a perfect layering fleece. It's also light enough for cool days or mornings. It's snug fit and smooth outer is perfect for layering under a winter shell. (The arms don't catch when slipping into an outer shell.) There was snow on the ground this morning, and I was comfortable with a T-Shirt, this fleece and an outer windshell jacket.DRAWBACKS:(1) There are no pockets to slip your hands into. When wearing it solo without layering, you must rest your hands in your pant pockets. I didn't think this would be a big deal. But I'm used to wearing a North Face TKA 100 fleece and kept reaching for my pockets. There is one chest zipper pocket which is nice. I kept a pair of Oakley Polarized glasses in this pocket without getting a scratch.(2) The outer material is easy to snag.I like to camp, and hunt, and other things around rough surfaces like wood. This fleece is not as durable as a true fleece in that regard as it may snag on trees, firewood, or other rough surfaces.I still give this nice Marmot product 4-stars, but have to use my pant pockets and be careful around rough surfaces.Go Outdoors!

5Perfect for when the weather changes
By John Arthur
I live in NW Arkansas and the weather can be tempermental at best. When I'm on campus it might be 25 when I get to class but 45 when I leave, I normally wear this with a vest that I can stick in my backpack when it warms up. I bought a black one of these jackets 2 years ago and loved it and when I saw the price on this one I jumped on it.
