Barnett Quad 400 18034 Kit - Quiver

Having been an archery hunter for 45 years, this was my first experience with a crossbow. The Quad 400 performed beyond expectations. The Owners Manual's pictures and illustrations are of poor quality and descriptions of assembly and operation are a bit sketchy. Sighting-in of the 4 X 32 scope provided in the kit could have been expedited with fewer shots taken if better information had been provided on scope adjustment. Marking on the scope indicated 1/4" change per click at 100 yards. After several shots and adjustments, that was translated to approximately 25 clicks per inch at the recommended beginning sight-in range of 15 yards.

Barnett Quad 400 Crossbow review

The crossbow was shipped in a very timely fashion. It was easy to assembly and shoots very well. Barnett says it shoots 345 fps but I took mine to an archery shop and it was said to be shooting 355 fps. The only problem was I thought it came with a scope and it didn't. But the scope they recommend in the owners manual is without a doubt the best scope I could have put on it. The scope was selling for $90.00 and it is a Barnett 4x32 Multi-Reticle crossbow scope.
