Dont get a knock off! the Philips model lasts at least 2 years (i have had one for 3 years and another for 2 years...i have tried 2 knock off models and both failed in less than a month!!) pay the extra to avoid any headache

Housing did not fit it my TV

I believe the actual lamp is OEM, but the housing it comes in is NOT! I tried many times to get it to fit in place and I could not. I ended up shipping it back and buying a Sony OEM housing and lamp from another company since Amazon did not offer it.
