Really cool watch

I got this Hamilton ETO watch for Christmas. It's an awesome timepiece. Plenty of functions and very nice looking. The 42MM size is perfect for me - I'm not big on the huge watches. My only complaint is the size of the strap. I really like the rubber strap and the way it is contoured to the watch, but it is too big for me on the very tightest setting. I need another set of holes. I had to buy a punch and try to punch it for the "H" style clasp. Not the easiest thing to do, but it turned out ok. I did it with a 1.5MM punch, but a 2 or 2.5MM size would have been more like the existing holes. I have several other watches and I don't wear any of them at the tightest clasp setting so my wrists aren't abnormally small. Before punching the band, I contacted Hamilton about possible solutions but they weren't of any help - not such great servoce when you are talking about a $500 watch. I like the white/silver dial, but this watch with an all black dial and black case would look amazing. They don't offer that. I will say the lume is pretty pathetic - just on the hands and it doesn't last long at all. Overall I am really impressed - just a few very minor tweaks from perfection. It is often compared to the X-wind. I have seen them together and I like the ETO a little better so if the automatic funnction isn't a big deal to you, I would recommend saving a few hundred dollars and getting the quartz ETO.

This watch is good looking and well made by Hamilton. It is somewhat different and thats why I bought it.
