Barbie & Friends Doll Set with P.J., Ken & Barbie Dolls is a 1982 Mattel Hawthorne production, made in Taiwan, female fashions made in Philippines. Model #4431. All included Dolls are approx. 11-1/2" tall. CONTENTS: P.J. Doll has strawberry blond hair & blue eyes, & P.J. Doll wears Earrings, a Finger Ring, a blue & white stripe Dress w/blue trim at neckline & hem with a dark pink sash belt at the waist. KEN Doll has dark molded hair & blue eyes, & he wears a pair of maroon color Pants, a light maroon color T-Shirt w/Ken decal at top. BARBIE Doll has blond hair & blue eyes, & she wears Earrings, a Finger Ring, a pink Skirt, a white with green, blue, yellow & pink stripe Top, & a pair of stripe Socks (matches her Top). It looks like there's a plastic packet w/Shoes, but I can't see how many pairs or who the shoes are for; sorry! Box is sealed. P.J. is Barbie Doll's Cousin & Ken is Barbie Doll's Boyfriend. A great deal for 1980s Barbie collectors!

This hard-to-find set is really a treasure for you 1980s era Barbie fanatics out there. You simply must add it to your collection and/or your wish list, if you can find it! It's simply amazing. The girls have the 1980s bent arm TNT body, and both are wearing rhinestone stud earrings and rings.Three dolls are included with this set:Barbie (Superstar face), who is screened very closely in face to 1982's Dream Date Barbie. Her blonde hair is pulled into a low ponytail at the nape of her neck, and then is twisted into two ponytails behind her shoulders. She is dressed casual knits--a multi-colored striped top with puffy sleeves and a matching pink shirred skirt. She's also wearing matching striped socks which end just below the knee, which might be hard to see from any non-deboxed photos. Very cute!Ken, who is closely screened to Dream Date Ken, also from 1982. His shirt matches Barbie's skirt in color, and it has "Ken" embroidered on the front. (We were all into those labels back then!). His coordinating burgundy track pants are almost balloon style, but not quite. He's wearing white sneakers.PJ (Steffie face), who has facial screening and hair similar to Dream Date PJ. Her navy and white striped cotton sundress is belted with a fuchsia sash, and she includes a cute little coordinating white hat.If you missed out on the Dream Date series of dolls, or if you love them and want dolls to complement the ones you already have, I would highly suggest this trio to you.
