The Anderson NanoTek SP Alpha Slowpitch Softball Bat is a balanced bat. In the softball world there are two basic types of hitters, those that prefer balanced bats and those that prefer the weight out in the end of the barrel. Both have their advantages. The NanoTek SP Alpha Slowpitch Softball Bat is designed to take advantage of a lower MOI and the improved batspeed (with less effort) that goes along with that without sacrificing any long-ball performance. The NSP-A features the patented LaunchPad on a 2¼ barrel and FlexLink composite handle design that moves the weight from the ends of the bat to the place it will do most good, right behind the ball. You don't have to break this bat in; it's hot right out of the wrapper. Peel off the wrapper and you are ready to start blistering line drives over the infielder's heads.
