Codoba C7 a great guitar for student or performer

I paid more than twice this price for a Spanish made acoustic guitar which sounds no better and is no more beautiful. The Cordoba C7 with nylon strings, rosewood sides and back and a cedar sound board is a beautiful guitar with a full rich sound regardless whether you play in first position or tenth position. I have run this guitar through all of the C-A-G-E-D sequences and C-A-G-E-D sequence scales with full, rich sounds up the neck to the 12th fret position with neither a loss of tone quality or amplitude. This guitar really produces a rich range of sounds with great amplitude regardless of the position you chose to play your chords or lead positions. I would rank this as top-of-the-line student to beginners concert level instrument.

They come in cedar or spruce tops. I got the spruce as it tends to improve some over time and a cedar is 'ready right now' mostly. If you have both to choose between, take the one that sounds and plays better. Either is a very good value and I have played some concert caliber guitars in the past and own one. For modest money, especially used, the C7CE is a good stage guitar. The electronics are Fishman and plenty good enough. The truss rod makes it easier to maintain a flat fretboard and adjust it to remove rattles.It's a factory guitar well made and detailed with pretty nice woods. It's easy to resell and you will lose a couple hundred dollars. A rather nice classical starts at a $2500 and up range (like an Adalid). So for most folks, a $650 new every day guitar with electronics is good enough. Find one used or barely damaged (marks on the rear or a fine crack are easily fixed) and play it if at all possible. Be prepared to return it if it does not sound rather nice. My spruce one is a very nice sounding guitar and plays quite well. I only touched the nut slots a tiny bit and took off about 1/16" off the saddle bottom first. Decent and positive tuners, neat, nice wood grains and finish is well applied. Inexpensive but not 'cheap' in performance or cosmetics.

Great Sound, Action, Tone, and overall Quality.

The Cordoba C7-CE is a classical guitar made for all levels of play. Please make sure you have your strings properly installed or you will be hearing a lot of vibration feedback from the Low E and D strings. it will take 1-2 weeks for the strings to keep in tune after they are replaced, have a tuner APP, or physical tuner ready. Overall this guitar is great. The weight of this guitar is light but still manages to produces a rich tone.
