Really like these steps. But pay attention to the instructions! When it says it will take you 4 hours to install, it really will take all 4 hours. I would reccomend these steps to anyone who can afford them.

2009 Ram 1500 Crew Cab w/Mopar side skirt.

First off, let me say these are fantastic boards. Very sturdy construction, directions are easy and well illustrated.I recently bought a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Crew Cab 4x4 for my wife. It has the Mopar body kits, front lip and side skirts. One thing it did not have was running boards so I did a little research and looked around.There are only 2 companies making power running boards, AMP Research and Bestop.From what I've seen AMP Research are rebranded Bestop or at least used to be.Anyway these were a couple hundred dollars cheaper so I went with Bestop.I received a box approximately 7 feet long 12"x10". Packed very neatly, double wrapped the actual boards in the box and all the parts wrapped in foam in 3 separate boxes inside the 7 footer.Install took about what they say, 4 hours, took me a little longer, 5 hours, but I was very meticulous. Like I said, install was no problem, even if you're doing it alone.2 problems I did run into...1.) I had everything hooked up and ready to go but my drivers side would not work. Tracked it down to the 12 pin connector to the control unit. One of the pins was not centered and was pushing the wire back, no connection. Pushed it back in place and hooked it up, worked, no problem.2.) This may be model specific, I have the Mopar body kit and when the boards close, both fronts of the boards hit the skirt so it needs some adjustment. Jimmy R. at Bestop said to try some washers to shim it out and that's what I'm going to try.Overall, Great product and awesome customer service. I really like them and more importantly, so does my wife.
