Cute, Great Idea, Miss on Fit

I purchased the Tivoli Couture Mommy's Hug Wearable Blanket for my gray Ergo carrier. I carry my baby in the front position, facing in. I have been using the blanket for 2 months now but it just doesn't fit quite right no matter how I place the straps. If I loop them on to the top of the carrier (where the sun shade snaps on), the hood fits my infant but the straps are short, so it pulls him very close to me and he gets frustrated that he can't see anything. If I wear the straps on the Tivoli, just around my carrier straps, they fall down and the blanket sits very low. My hands can barely reach the built in muff (I have long arms) and the hood is nowhere near my infant's head. I will keep on using it because I don't want to spend more money on another solution. I do think the color and softness is fantastic and the built in muff, also great. I think it's a miss on a great fit for the Ergo but understand it is designed to fit multiple carriers. You can pull the hood off, as we have done.

not for winter. good for spring/fall. For stroller/car sit too

summary: I gave it 4 stars, because it is easy to use, easy to adapt and it will protect my kid. Would have given 5 stars if it was zipper instead of elastic (less air in)and if had a removable cushion insert to use for winter (but who can beat this price???)Full: The product look exactly like you see on the picture (it is not really metallic). It is wind/rain proof with a removable hood and it has a soft plush lining inside. It works great for my baby bjorn, it does not interfere with it, and my baby seems not to mind it at all. It is also easy to pack, you can fold it and just put it in your bag when not in use.It has elastic all around it so you can wrap the carrier or the car sit or the stroller, my only problem with it is that it could not cover his arms completely and I had to adjust it to make sure he would not get wet or cold (it is basically a bag with elastic). You still have to put him in warm clothes and you can even have a blanket around him (the mommy's hug cover will secure it). It is not made for winter though, as promptly explained by Tivoli's team to me when I emailed then (apparently they will make the winter version available in October).

A must have!

This product is a must have for cold climates. Used it at Disneyland during the cool windy evening. Used it while at the snow, and many other activities in cold climate. I get a lot of compliments! So much better than a blanket. Hood is nice. The pocket in the front is rather low, but doesn't take away from the product.
