If you think about it, if you own a sidearm to protect you and yours and it is not kept handy were it could do some good how is that helpful? With the SafeCase Biometric Safe you have the best of both worlds. I mounted mine in my living room book case. You hardly know it's there. With the swipe of your finger (or the fingers of other chosen home defenders)it opens right up. If your fingerprint is NOT programmed in NO such luck.You can also hook it to almost anything with a heavy wire cable.
