Nice product

The Reader's Corner Table is quite a unique product and pricey as well. By its very design (two open sides in a book shelf/table), it requires good construction quality and I was expecting that for the price paid. It arrived totally assembled in a VERY well packed box. The table looks identical to what is shown in the picture. It seems to be put together very well. The shelves are trimmed on the edge to look skinny. The actual thickness of the shelf is about twice of visible thickness and that is good. Each middle shelve is attached to the two sides of the table with 4 connectors(two on each side). It is not clear if the connectors are long screws or something else, but they have wooden plugs on the visible side. The shelves appear to be well secured in place. The top part is attached to the table in the same way, but the connectors are top down. The 4 connectors are visible on the top of this table and it is a distraction to the beauty of this table. I wish they were not there but there is not much that can be done, given that it is made of solid wood (not veneer). I am giving it a 4.5 Star for that reason only. Otherwise, an excellent table.
