I bought this Mizuno Franchise 11 3/4 and a Mizuno ProSoft 12 3/4. I'm used to to outfielders' gloves so the 11 3/4 seems a bit small. The 12 3/4 seems a bit big on the prosoft tho and I have Adult large hands.I believe The ProSoft was twice the price because it is made entirely of leather. This Franchise one is all outer leather with a very soft very comfortable cloth/pad absorbent inner lining making the glove thinner too. Obviously this means it won't last as long as the full leather but should last a few years with regular season play. It is super soft, durable and it was genuinely broken in after one easy throwing session. The other still needs alot of work.

By Jersey Dissident
Purchased this glove after my 12 year old son's infield glove went missing. His old glove was a 12.25" Rawlings, was well broken-in and he did just OK with it. His catcher's mitt and first base gloves are Mizuno Franchise and he's totally pleased with their performance so I decided to go with the Mizuno Franchise for his replacement glove. Along the way I had read where a slightly smaller glove may improve infield performance so my choice was the 11.75" model. He used the glove right out of the package for his first practice - the leather was soft and the ball fit perfectly in in the palm. The sound of the line drive ball in the glove sounded like it had been broken-in long before practice. The thing was like a ball magnet - running catches, line drives, grounders and fly balls - without his dropping a single one. Sure wish we had figured this out long ago! Also - the price/performance of the Mizuno Franchise gloves for his age and level of play is really fantastic.

Overall it's a pretty nice mitt. Great for high school players like me. Although it is a little bit small for big boys, but ok for infield. Mizuno makes great mitts.
