Two stacks just enough for 10x30 sized load of furniture
By T. Stewart
Good quality. The movers said theirs were better and I would agree but mine only have to hold up to a couple of moves as opposed to daily use. Compact packaging upon arrival. Padding was good.It was hard for me to know how many to buy. Two stacks did the job for fragile furniture from a large house.

Good blankets for around $10 apiece
By Fletch
I got these blankets for moving finished workpieces, I work in metal fabrication. These blankets are a polyester blend, and this weight is about 3/8 inch thick. I can't imagine using much less weight than these as a single layer of protection for valuable items, so I'm very satisfied with my purchase. As an aside, because I work with welding, with all it's heat and sparks and spatter, I subjected one to a burn test. It is not what I would call extremely flammable, however, when a small fire is started and let burn it will spread and not self extinguish. Even after putting out the fire, the filler smolders and must be thoroughly extinguished with water. Please, use caution around heat sources with these (and all blankets, for that matter.)

Smelly
By Paul B.
These Chinese-made blankets arrived in a bundle (like a hay bale) that had clearly been left outside somewhere. The thermal paper on the package label has all the signs of being left out in the weather for some time. I opened the package and put the blankets in the enclosed back of my truck. A few hours later I arrived at my destination and opened the tailgate and the smell was terrible. Slightly mildewed in aroma. Yuk. They were dry and not wet but I imagine they picked up some container smell on the trip from China as they are not packaged iin plastic wrap/bag but just a woven plastic burlap type material. Some of the missed stitching on the blankets tells me that they may not stay together for a lot of moves. I will update in a year and let you know. Not sure if these can be washed but I may sacrife one to the Maytag gods to see how they hold up.
