5Great Call!
By Ann
I looked at about every electronic call out there for under $150 and this is by far the best bang for your buck! I have not found one sound that I do not like. I have had it for about a month now (using it about twice a week) and though I have not seen a coyote yet (I did get them howling), I got a wolf to howl back to the male wolf howl. I have also had a peregrine falcon within 15 feet of the call and I have called in MANY crows to well within shotgun range. As far a the range of the remote goes I have been up to 100 yards and it works great just as long as there is not to much brush in the way. There was one problem I had with it was when I got a little snow on the speakers and the call would turn on for about 5 seconds then just shut off. So I cleaned the speakers off the best I could while I was in the woods and it worked fine after that and I continued my hunt. This is a great call and I would recommend it to friends. One warning try keeping it as warm as possible.Update: It has been six days since my first review of this product and I have called In two coyotes, one of them to within 15 feet of the call and only 25 yards from me before I shot it.

1Flextone call did not work
By hunter
Ordered this one and arrived quickly. It did not work and the seller Antonline would not take it back. Amazon should check out their vendors and ensure that they stand by their products. Flextone(the manufacturer) agreed to an exchange but was it costly to return. Still waiting on the exchange.

4Returned one, the replacement was great (read this one)
By Alaska Moutian Man
I purchased the Wild Game Innovations Flextone Game Call. The call showed up FAST! I plugged the unit in for 14 hours (min of 10 hours charge time in instructions) The remote charged fine but the unit its self did not charge at all. I put my own batteries in and the unit worked with charged batteries. I am not sure if it was the batteries that came with the unit or if the unit itself was not charging the batteries??? With the fresh batteries and a full charge on the remote, the remote would not control the unit. I called wild game innovations, it appears that the remote was not tuned to the main unit and they could not tell if it was the built in charger or the rechargeable batteries that where bad. They wanted me to return the unit for repair or replacement. They would not pay for shipping to return the unit and it could take up to 60 days for me to get the unit back. (unacceptable! I also spent 52 min on hold, again unacceptable!) I contacted Amazon and they would replace the unit that day, and ship it out within 24 hours and I could return the defective unit at no charge and they would refund my shipping cost to get the unit to them. Yes, nice to get some customer service. I will update this review when I receive the replacement unit and see how it works.UPDATE: I have had the replacement and I tested it out at home as soon as I got my hands on it. But, wanted to test it in the field before updating my review.First the replacement came quick and they even paid for the shipping to send the unit back... so they get top rating for the return process.Second: The replacement unit only took 4 days to get to me from the time I filled out the on line form... again top rating for the shipping on the replacement.Third: The field test - I made two sets and even though we did not put a coyote on the ground, the second set did have a coyote come in. So I can say with out a doubt that the call works. As far as the performance. Here is what I can pass on to you. The speakers are clear except at max volume which was acceptable. The remote will not quite make 300' range - with that said it was -4 below so at warmer temps it may reach 300' range. In all I like the unit and for the money I think it is worth the money. So for over all:The initial unit - 0 starsThe return - 5 starsAmazon crediting for the shipping on the replacement - 5 starsThe shipping time on the replacement - 5 starsThe replacement unit and its performance - 4 starts
