a great choice

I spent quite a bit of time researching this type of garage vacuum before settling on this one. Based on an an examination of the product, then mounting it in my garage and using it a few times I am very happy with my choice. This vac has an "industrial" feel to it in that it is very substantial. It is quiet, has a lot of suction, has an easy to change bag, and can be converted easily into a blower. There are also a full range of replacement parts and some very useful optional attachments available from the manufacturer, who is a leading supplier of central vacuum systems. About the only room that I would see for improvement would be a more well thought out storage system for the hose, which I now have wrapped around the wall mount several times to keep it off the floor.As an added plus, it appears that the vacuum is "made in the USA".

After a thorough search for a garage vacuum system, I purchased the VacuMaid GV30 through Amazon. The vacuum arrived earlier than promised, was easy to install and is very well made. I have the vacuum mounted on the wall that separates two overhead garage doors. In doing so, I can use it on the vehicles in the garage as well as a vehicle parked just outside the garage on the driveway. The directions for installation were easy to follow and I was using it right away. I had a question about the vacuum and called the company. They answered my questions and immediately sent an email with a picture so that I could see what they were explaining. The vacuum has great suction and I like using it so much better than the ones at the car wash. I ordered replacement bags and received them in just a few days. The customer service was excellent! I have recommended this vacuum to several of my friends.

I bought the GV30 about two months ago to use in my garage and to vacum out my vehicles. So far I am very happy with it. Holds very good.suction and the blower feature works well too. One of the reasons I chose the gv30 is that my allergies are usually aggrevated by regular shop vacs. With the hepa filter(although expensive) the gv30 does not bother my allergies at all.
