Works very well

Bought this to recover dining chairs. The manual Stanley one I had could never get the staples in all the way. I saw the original upholstery used 3/8" crown staples so I got this one. It is light weight, the staples (Empire E710) loaded easily by dropping in from the bottom. You set the depth with the air pressure. The safety trigger was easy to use. It comes with a compact plastic case and a cap for the air inlet. I didn't have any problems whatsoever with this stapler.

Bad trigger mechanism

The staple gun performs the function that it was purchased to perform, however, the trigger and safety mechanism is less than desirable. The gun was purchased to reupholster chairs which requires shooting a large number of staples. The design of the safety/trigger is uncomfortable and causes pinched finger. I'm sure that the safety can be taped so that it becomes a non-issue but the mechanism needs to be redesigned. I would not buy another gun with this design.
