The Kapsule Chair was named one of the best product designs of the year in 2002 as a recipient of the Silver Level Industrial Design Excellence Award. Better Homes and Gardens is also a big fan of the Kapsule Chair. It is available in four fun colors - Neon Green/Yellow, Deep Purple, Luminous Orange, and Electric Blue.

Great quality.

Our two year old son loves this chair. It's fairly big, which means he'll be able to use it for a long time. The quality of plastic is really great. Even I can sit on it and it doesn't even bend or warp, much less threaten to break. (And I weigh... Not a little.) It has storage which may be better for a 3-6 year old but has been a source of drama for us with our 1-2 year old. He likes to grab things and put them in there. If we need to take the chair apart, we can. But it's waaay too difficult for him and it's never come apart on its own. This is a nice, durable chair that's worth the money. And my child, like many others from the reviews I've read, likes to push this around and be pushed around while sitting on it.

My children love it and it's not a eyesore for me. I really like the orange color. It is easily wiped clean. It was recommended to me by my neighbor, who has children with allergies, and has found this easy cleaning, an the fact that there is no cloth to trap allergens, to be a great help. It did take two of us to snap the two pieces together, and the kids have pulled it apart a few times, but still very pleased.

wish it was easier to put together and brighter

I toddler had a huge smile on her face when she first saw the chair in her room, hence the 3 stars. However, it did take me awhile to put the capsule together when I first received it, and I am usually very handy when it comes to things that requires assembly. The 2 parts keeps slipping off when you trying to push them together to lock. Anyway, took me awhile.Also I wish the chair itself is less transparent in color, I think it would look a lot cuter if the color was more solid bright orange, but that is just subjective from my part. The color itself is quite similar to the picture advertised on site though.
