Excellent stand

This stand is made of high quality materials, is easy to assemble and holds the monitor easily. We ordered this for a conference room in a historical building that has a white board where the blackboard used to be, so I couldn't mount the monitor to the wall. I purchased this stand because it was 1) portable, 2) rated for the size monitor we ordered and 3) affordable. This stand nailed it on all three points. The casters roll smoothly on terrazo, carpet and tile, and the front two casters lock in place to keep the monitor from rolling around when accidentally bumped.The monitor we mounted to it is 55" diagonally and weighs about 65 pounds. This stand handles it without any problems. I was initially concerned that the stand would be unstable with a monitor that size, but because the base is so wide stability isn't a problem.The shelves are PVC, but they are strong enough to hold a DVD player or laptop, and the support bar across the back is the perfect place to secure cables (video, power, etc) with velcro holders to keep everything secure when transporting it from room to room.The only minor quibble is the color. The unit isn't black, it's beige. It still goes well with any color scheme, but I think a black stand would look a little more professional and a little less industrial. However, for the price this stand can't be beat!

Even though it was a bit of an ordeal to put this thing together, I'm very happy with the outcome. It's very stable and easy to roll around. The only problem that I had was when I had to remove the top shelf, it was a bit of a struggle. I persevered and the outcome was good. Know what you want to put on the shelves going into the project; you'll thank me later

Solid and Stable Mobile Stand

This item was purchased to be used as a mobile television cart for our church. I was initially concerned from the description (plastic shelves) that it might not be durable enough for what we had in mind. I was so wrong. This thing is as solid enough for the youth room. It went together easily, even including the flat wrench and Allen wrench necessary for assembly. I'm very impressed and hope it's still available when we need another one.
