This was/is the best product I have bought for my Galil. It has a bomber fit, an awesome viewing channel for use of existing iron sights, and makes an already elegant rifle even sweeter to look at. It's a spendy piece of metal, but now that I can appreciate its quality, I would recommend this item to any Galil owner. Keep in mind, like any optic mount for a Galil, operating the vertical charging handle will be more awkward, but do-able. Also, you will have to make adjustments to the provided set screws to bring the two fields of view into alignment - you'll understand after installation. Mine was installed with a bit of lubricant, a small block of hardwood, and a ball peen hammer.
