About the narrow width

I have a narrow size 10 foot and was pleased to have the narrow option in this shoe with a removable footbed so I could use my orthotics. I ordered the 10 narrow and 10 medium to see which the orthotic would fit best. Much to my surprise, I discovered upon removing the footbed from the narrow that it was labelled 10B as it was in the medium. As well. The only difference between the two shoes was the length of the three adjustable straps which were about half an inch or more longer in the medium width. There is enough leather on the sides of the shoe to mask the extra width in the footbed so the narrow did not look unattractive. I also think that the wider footbed in the narrow width might be nice in the summer when a lot of walking in heat can make my feet swell some. But I just thought others with a narrow foot might like to know that the major difference in width is only in the length of the straps since both use the same 10B footbed..

Comfortable Sandal

I purchased these because I have high arches and plantar fasciitis. While the arch support isn't as good as my orthotics, the extraordinarily cushioned footbed does support my foot well enough to make these sandals wearable comfortably. The four hook-and-loop straps make them infinitely adjustable, which adds to their comfort. One last, and all-important, feature of these sandals: For the most part, I wear a C/D width but in these I had to order the 2E. Fortunately, Aravon makes that width!

Not the best model

this three-strap version of the Aravon sandal does not offer the support of the heavy-duty two-strap version. The lower price isn't worth it.
