The METALSHIELD protective coating process is a three step finish consisting of a rust inhibiting primer, dipped E-coat electrostatic coating to insure total finish coverage and finally an outer powder coat finish for durability. The METALSHIELD process is an OEM compatible finish providing the best corrosion protection over brands that use only powder coat on their products. The Reese Hitch is a high quality product. Installation was very easy and took about 15 minutes with hand wrenches. The seller "ecustomhitch", was one of the best that I have encountered using the Internet when buying. Delivery was fast, in secure packaging and priced right.

This thing was so easy to install ! Between my husband and I it took us less than 15 minutes. You line up the holes stick the bolts in and tighten them, its that easy.

This was a great choice. It arrived on time. The box showed signs of being opened and retaped, but everything was inside. Plastic plug was laying loose in the bottom of the box and was broken. No big deal tho. This hitch was a perfect fit. 30 mins install time. I did not have to remove spare tire or bumper. Use a floor jack to hold it in place while you tighten it up to make it easier. Arrived with all the necessary bolts, nuts and washers to do the job. Don't pay someone to install it for you. This was too easy.
