Ti-84 plus silver edition is excellent!

This calculator has everything you need, you can do any functions you want to do like sin, cosine,etc. Graphing is great, statistics is on their, and many many more! I didn't buy this in amazon, I bought it at Target. It was on sale and I got it for $95, cheaper than other sellers in amazon or amazon. Regularly, it would be $120 plus tax which would come out to be about the same as amazon or other sellers, so you could buy it here too. This is a pretty complicated calc. but you'll get used to it. Needs 4 AAA batteries and it will last long if you don't darken the screen, it will drain the batteries quickly. I recommend this calculator starting in middle school.

Beyond a Calculator!

I was overwhelmed by the TI-84 at first, but once I got the tutorial disc (sold separately)I was able to make headway. I strongly recommend the tutorial for those who have limited knowledge of graphing calculators. I am amazed at how much this calculator does, and I have barely scratched the surface!

We are very happy with this item. It is working out great for math. My eldest daughter has had hers since 8th grade and she is in 2nd year of college She loves hers 2!
