Great Buy

I dropped my gateway nv series laptop on another device and cracked the screen. For years I have been told that the cost of replacing the screen is close the price of a brand new laptop. I immediately began pricing for a replacement laptop. While doing my search I decided to see how much for a new screen. I happened upon this amazon page and I was amazed at how cheap a new screen is. I then told myself that the high price of replacement must come from labor and miscellaneous parts.How wrong I was. Not only did the replacement not require any extra or replacement parts, but it was very easy. All it took was a very small phillips head screwdriver and 20 minutes. The real shocker was that during the installation the spring loaded power button came out and took over 10 minutes to fix.So that means someone like me with zero electronics experience removed and replaced a laptop lcd screen in less than 10 minutes on my first attempt! All I did was a quick google search to find the instructions, which I probably did not need. I am so pleased with myself. I turned a potential several hundred dollar problem into a less than $100 and fewer than 10 minute solution.
