Swim in comfort!

If you like to do lap swimming or lake swimming and be comfortable these are the fins for you! Really any kind...the length is perfect for exercise, there's even another style if you want to work harder...For aerobic exercise, time is the most important thing. You need to be able to keep going. This is my second pair of these fins, the closure method changed and was easier for my hands due to disability. It's like wearing slippers. Regular fins are a harder plastic and no matter what, the flexing motion over time rubs on your toes and it hurts. So you stop and you're not accomplishing anything. With fins anyone can swim. PERFECT for and age and I encourage it especially for the young and old. Safer for the young in a lake, etc because of the power, strength really for anyone is important. For seniors at the pool it assures they can keep going when muscles would be giving up. It makes them feel more secure and safe with the extra power. Add a kick board and viola! You get your workout! Three success stories, me, swimming 45 min to 1 hour 3 times a week and lost inches off waist in 2 weeks, my mom is 78, and without them she can't swim but with she can! The third is my cousin who was afraid of the water got the fins and a PFD the kind like for kayaking because less around the shoulders for swimming, etc. Anyway, she went with us to this really great lake and I like to swim across and back, she now had the strength to do it, the courage with the PFD so you're safe, and knowing you're not going to tire so quickly you are able to keep going. You get to exercise every muscle group, especially those core muscles so vital for balance and stability, to keep back healthy and exercise your arms and legs. I would say this is a life changing purchase for a parent, someone who needs to strengthen after joint replacement surgery, health problems, all the above! Don't feel like you have to win a race, just continue and realize that this is the only exercise that uses every muscle in your body AND safely, without wrecking joints. But do it in comfort. Also, and almost just as important, they last. My first pair is fine, 12 years old I think. These would be awesome for snorkeling too. I travel with them too. You can just hang onto the side in a pool and kick for exercise if small pool. You don't sweat with swimming, if you have asthma, this doesn't trigger mine, so get these and start a program for life!
