Why didn't they take a better picture.

The picture that they have on Amazon doesn't do this angel justice. They should have taken this photo separate from the rest of the statues. It looks better in real life than it does in the picture. The word "Joy" is cut into the angel. So we call her Joy and she looks amazing while she is holding a dove in her hand. By the way the angel is a 2 part angel. The angel and then the dove is magnetic and is held in her hand by apiece of metal that she holds in her palm.

Beautiful Angle

We ordered this as part of the manger set (7 pieces total - Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, 3 Wisemen, Angel)Pro:- This set looks like they are carved out of wood and are very beautiful even though they are made in resin from a mold and hollow.Con:- The figures aren't as tall as I would have liked, but with the complete set, that is not a problem.- Because the figures are hollow, they are not that stable if sitting on just grass in your yard.- The Angel is very susceptible to wind do to the span of her wings (Sails) and ours blew over the first night I had them out and it caused a small crack to form from where the plug (from casting) is on the bottom (out of site).Recommendation:Secure the figures so the wind doesn't blow them over. I cut out pressure treated 2 x 12's and glued (construction adhesive) them to the figures to form a heavier base. I also added eye-hooks to the wood base so that I could stake them to the ground with small aluminum spikes (like the kind used with camping tents) so they won't blow over.The complete set looks great and I highly recommend them, just make sure they can't blow over and break as they are expensive.
