Had the dreaded red lamp light come on my Mitsubishi WD-62725 TV.New right away the lamp needed replacement as did this few years ago.Ordered this lamp with housing, took off the three screws off the front behind the speaker coverThe OEM compatible bulb had failed in less than two months which I returned to Amazon for a refundSlid this back in, tightened the 3 thumb screws and the other cover with three screwsThis Phillips one also had some play, does not fit like a glove like the original Mitsubishi onesTurned the TV back on and wallah it worksGreat price, beats the $220 that Mitsubishi wanted for the very same bulb at $99Comes with a 6 month warranty from Phillips at [...]TV is brighter than before too due to new lamp, 5 starsI will update if it lasts longer than 2 months later

Humm, Not sure about this.

Ordered from seller "Projector Parts". The quality of the bulb can't be denied. However, the housing is garbage compared to the original housing. More importantly, the bulb was installed 180 degree off! I mean, seriously, the wires from the bulb didn't go through the purpose-built notches in the paper protector, which should have been a clue to the builder. Housing wouldn't fit into TV without some tweaking, whereas the orig plugged right in without issue. Housing seemed like a cheap knockoff. Did not come in the factory Phillips housing, which should have been a clue.
