Just received this bulb

I ordered this bulb and it arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well. The product description stated it would arrive in a Philips box. It arrived in a plain brown box with a white sticky typed label on the outside saying it was a Philips bulb. Unsure if it is as anyone could have typed the info. on the label. The outer box was shipped from Ness Electronics. I am assuming they are the same as Dynamic Lighting as that is the company that I placed my order with and corresponded with here on Amazon.Directions for installation were included but not a warranty card as shown in the picture. I did contact the seller though and was told by Joshua at Dynamic Lighting via email that the warranty is good for six months.I paid more for this bulb because of the description. I am hoping that it lasts longer than 4 months like my last bulb. That bulb was from the same company in a plain brown box as well. I was told that this bulb is different. I will report back on how long this more expensive bulb lasts. The rating I am giving the product is a shipping/packaging review only at this time. A true product star review cannot be given until the products durability is proven and hopefully that is for at least six months as I am tired of replacing bulbs. This is my third bulb I have purchased through Amazon for this set.Ordering these types of bulbs on Amazon is very confusing. There are so many different prices even by the same vendor....BUYERS BEWARE and keep your receipts.

These bulbs will last

I purchased this item approximately 6 months ago to install in my Panasonic rear projection LCD TV. The previous bulb that was installed was a Philips as well with an approximate life span of 4 years. That bulb lasted over 6 years so I have no worries that this bulb will perform just as well. I've read too many bad reviews in regards to cheaper bulbs that just don't last. I recommend spending a little more up front for a quality bulb instead of spending more later replacing a cheaper model. Installing this bulb could not have been easier. I'd recommend this item to anyone looking for a bulb replacement.
