Stylish yet comfortable

I've worn Dansko's professional clogs for years. I originally bought them for working at the hospital. Even after a twelve hour shift, they keep my back, legs, and feet comfortable. Now I grab them for shopping trips, errands, and anytime I'm going to be walking alot. This is a new style of Dansko for me and I'm very pleased. Great for skirts and almost as comfortable as the clogs. Definitely the most comfortable pair of dressy heels I own!

I have size 8 feet, with flat arches. These are comfortable. I do have the ankle strap on the smallest (tightest) hole and they fit perfectly, so if I had narrow ankles I'd have to punch some more holes.

I am a big Dansko fan and have many pairs of their shoes. I have a similar strappy sandal with a small heel in black, and I always get a lot of compliments on them, so I decided to get a pair in brown as well. People are always surprised when I tell them my black ones are Danskos since everyone seems to think that they only make nurse's clogs!I love the simplicity of this shoe and I love that the mesh that holds the brown filigree-type design on the front is almost unnoticeable. It makes the cutouts look fancier and very pretty! The ankle strap is thin, so be careful putting these shoes on and taking them off so you don't break it. That would be about my only complaint! A wider ankle strap would be ideal but with proper care, they should hold up ok. Just know that going in. That's the only reason these shoes received a 4-star rating.These shoes are pretty much true to size, but I have a wide right foot so I went up a size. I am a size 10 and usually get a size 41, but opted for a size 42 to allow for my wider size on one side. The filigree pattern lands slightly above the toe line, so allow for some breaking in as with all Danskos.These shoes are slightly dressier in person then they look in the photo, and would look great with shorts, a long skirt, and even jeans! They are practical for spring, summer and early fall wear. They feature a slip-resistant sole, which is nice! No one needs to be sliding around on wet or shiny floors.Again, I've personally had good luck with Danskos and am always on the lookout for dressier styles. This one fits the bill! But remember, all Danskos fit a bit differently and vary not only from style to style, but also from shoe to shoe so you might need a couple of tries to get a pair with a perfect fit. But, that being said, Danskos conform to fit your foot after a while, so give them a chance to break in! They get better with age!If you have never owned a pair of Dansko heels or sandals, I highly recommend investing in a pair. These are shoes that are timeless, and you will end up wearing them again and again!
