Stylish, classy, long hx of durability - what more do you need?

I bought this as an everyday watch. Like my previous watches, it'll be exposed to everything from diving the Caribbean to hiking the local desert and everything in-between. The styling on this watch is clean and crisp - whether working in the garage or on the golf course, or at dinner with khakis and a jacket. Tho not used to the chronograph, the 'busy-ness' of the face is a little disconcerting, but after a week, it becomes less distracting. Do I need a chrono - no, but I like the 'look'.The size is perfect, easy for me to see yet not Invicta-dinner-plate huge. It has a solid heft matched with a easy to use band.The blue dial actually becomes black in low light so don't let the blue face put you off. It's a deep, sapphire blue that lets it stand out from the crowd but not 'too' much.There's those who like Seiko, those that don't. This is my third that I've worn 24/7, 365 since high school and I'm 50 yrs old. One died, one I passed to my son, and one sits in my jewelry box. With a record like that and the styling of this watch, investing the extra $500 in the Movado chrono I considered just didn't make sense.

This beautiful Seiko has everything that the +$500 timepieces offer. Sapphire crystal, T704 calibre quartz movement (for perfect timekeeping), the perfect blue dial which makes you want to keep looking at it, and a stainless steel braclet with safety clasp.The size of this watch is deceiving as the picture makes it looks big, but at 43mm it is the perfect size and weight. I am very happy with this purchase.

Originally saw this watch at Macy's and purchased it on sale. Then saw it on Amazon for ~$100 less than Macy's sale price. Returned it to Macy's then purchased this watch from Amazon. I own several Seiko's and this watch is an excellent buy. Its well designed, easy to read, handsome, and although large, not too heavy or bulky. I consistently receive compliments on the watch and always enjoy wearing it. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in a handsome, quality Seiko at a great price.
