Nice table!

I would have given it 5 stars, but there was a minor defect with the "grout" between a couple tiles. It looked white in an area. I was able to use a dark marker to hide it. Otherwise, this table is great and looks good in our foyer. I assembled it in about 10 minutes and it is very sturdy. No wobbles for me. Thinking about ordering a 2nd one for another area in the house.

My wife and I were looking for a sofa table style table that we could use as a plant table next to a large window. With its unusual tile-like inlay on the top surface, that we hope will protect the table from water stains, this table seemed to fill the bill. The table was well packaged and had no blemishes. The minimalist assembly directions were not very helpful, but then again assembly is intuitive and simple, and went smoothly. My only complaint about the design is that the table does not sit squarely on the floor and while there appears to be a means to adjust it, it is far from convenient; it appears I have decided to live with the slight wobble rather than struggle with the adjustment. The inlay is described on the Amazon website as 'faux slate'. It is not clear what the material actually is. It looks more like glazed clay tile than slate, but I suspect it is actually some kind of polymer. The inlay is attractive and goes well with the cherry stained wood, but given there is no information on the nature of the material and its stability, I do wonder how it will resist scratching and discoloration over time. The address of the Chinese furniture company is stapled to the underside of the table, so there is at least the hint of a prospect of accountability if something goes wrong with this material. In any case, after two months, we have no reason to not be delighted with this attractive and functional table.
