Product Description
Safariland's model 6320 is an ALS (Automatic Locking System) without the SLS system. It features the ALS System, an internal locking device that retains the weapon in all directions, providing secure retention in an open top holster for duty use. With ALS, once the weapon is holstered, it "locks" into place, providing an extra measure of security for the weapon. Further the holster is completely operable with the thumb, making it very instinctive to use. Once the device is de-activated, a simple staight up draw can be used. The 6320 features the 6070 UBL, a mid-ride belt loop that allows the holster to ride close to the body. The 6360 features a tensioning device, molded sight track and SafariSuede lining to protect the gun's sights and finish. its wraparound construction and SafariLaminate structure provide the strongest combination available today. The Safariland rigid UBL (Universal Belt Loop), anchors the holster and stabilizes it on your duty belt with hardened aerospace fasteners. Fits: Glock 20, 21 w/ ITl Streamlight M3

Safariland ALS Holster

First of all, let me say that you can't go wrong with Safariland products in general. My law enforcement agency buys their products for the hundreds of sworn officers who use them every day. We use the ALS product line for Uniformed Patrol, Detectives, undercover, and off duty. Having the same basic retention system for each method of carry ensures a high degree of safety, retention, and muscle memory.I purchased this as a tactical holster for my Glock 21 SF .45 which has a Streamlight TLR-1 rail mounted light attached. While the Amazon product 'description' of the item is somewhat confusing, knowing that the 'M3' light is the same application as the TLR-1, I tried it.Also, there was some confusion with whether it was actually the latest version of the holster or an older style. The new style incorporates a special lug which actually goes inside the muzzle of the weapon. This becomes very important should you insert the gun WITHOUT the light in the holster. Using the older model (without the little lug in the muzzle), the empty space (where the light fits) left the gun to flop around loosely which is never good with firearms.Having had awesome results with Amazon with previous order - including returns, how could I go wrong? I could always return it if it didn't work out, right?Anyway, the item arrived super quick as is normally the case, and is exactly what I was looking for.I highly recommend this holster for anyone with a Glock 21/ 21SF. I would expect similar results with this holster for any firearm for which they provide a model.
