Motors went out at 2 1/2 months Good customer service

Louder than Amp power steps. They were relatively easy to instal, the directions confused me forwiring on my 2000 F250. It was a lot easier than the directions made it seem. After calling BESTOP Iwas able to get them wired up. Both motors went out on the steps within 3 months of using them. I called customerservice and they sent me new motors promptly! Great customer service. It seems as though thenew motors are working much more efficiently and quieter.Overall they are cool lots of compliments. They helped out greatly with my 10" lift, now the truck is lowered againand it is really easy to get into.

Was able to mount mechanical parts myself but the harness was fun to install. Define "fun" you say? Okay! Once plugged in, the steps would lower but not go back up. Had to Call Bestop to find out that they are not manufactured for a FORD in the wiring, you have to break open the wiring and turn around a diode in order for it to function correctly. ALSO, they harness only came with two wires for the front doors. I had to call and confirm this with Bestop and then, they helped me locate where to add in my own wire to make the back doors trigger the steps. Another downside is that the steps rubbed on the back mounting bolts and stripped the paint from the step, revealing the aluminum metal. the driver's side got stuck on these bolts and would not lower. Easy fix, I added a spacer/more washers to the bots and they did not get in the way of the step's travel anymore. OVERALL, GREAT product and have never received as many compliments on my truck as I do now.
