The IDT Add-On Collar unit can be added to your Micro-iDT PLUS training system to expand your unit up to a 3-dog system. This Add-On Collar can also replace a lost or damaged collar for MicroiDT Z and PLUS series systems (only for systems with serial numbers that start with a letter). Programming to your existing system is fast and simple.

Great training tool!

I really like the vibrating feature on this unit. Allows user to give a warning before shocking the pet to reinforce training or commands. I use this on a lab for duck hunting. Waterproof feature is excellent.

Effective for the price

These collars and training set up are effective.Use:One Chihuahua, to train to stay in the yardTwo large breed muts, for barking at everything that goes by our fence.Pros: I love the vibrating feature! I have only had to use the electrical impulses once on the chihuahua. A quick tap on the vibrator and she turns away from the fence. It works just as well on the larger dogs, one being a Doberman something mix.It fits both sized dogs (I trimmed the collar down)The price! For about 1/4 of the price this collar works just as well as the more expesive collars. (I can only speak to ranges from 1/5 to 3/4 of an acre, works just fine)Cons: I suppose this is to be expected for the price, the material the actual collar is made from is, well, lower quality and not as pliable. The collar still works just fine, but when you are trying to get it on quickly, it can be a bit more of a challenge.

I bought two additional collars for my D.T. systems receiver. They were easy to program and function well at long distances. These are solid reliable collars.
