Warm and dry

These are the warmest gloves I've ever owned.There's a strap that lets you tighten them around your wrist and another band on the inside at the edge of the glove that lets you tighten the inner lining as well -- no more getting snow down your gloves.The leather-type grip is nice and will hopefully prove to be durable (no news is good news -- if I haven't updated this review then I haven't had any problems yet).One thing to note is that the gloves are fairly thick -- you won't have any trouble gripping things but you may have to take the gloves off to do things you might have been able to do with other gloves (although I can still use my car keys well enough). Still, that seems like a fair trade for gloves which are genuinely warm.You can't beat the water resistance, either. I actually filled my sink with water, put on a glove and gave it a good soak, exercised the fingers, etc. The outer shell got soaked but the inner liner did its job -- warm, dry fingers. I don't think snow is going to be a problem.P.S.Goggle wipe = left glove has something like a plastic squeegee on the outside of the thumb for clearing goggles.Nose wipe = right glove has a sort of soft-cloth pad on the outside of the thumb for, I guess, wiping your nose.
